Zero Defense is a very original game of the Tower Defense genre in which you will find a very addictive gameplay that requires not only strategic thinking, but also a good reaction. The game is presented in the best traditions of the genre and will certainly remind you of its pioneers. Tracks on the playing field look modest (though they are not deprived of quality in terms of graphics), but the characters are produced with some freshness.
As the attacking part there will act strange cartoon creatures characterized by high mobility or resistance to a certain type of weapon. Weapons in the game count for not as much as we would like (at least, in the first few levels) but they can be upgraded for quite reasonable money. However, owing to the enemies will attack in long strings and move very quickly, freezing guns will be used in this game as often as in no other.
Diversity of guns and enemiesIt is not clear why this happens, but even if all you stud all the roadside of the footpath with plasma guns and at that don't use the freeze, you will unlikely win, let alone complete a level without any loss. Besides foot enemies, in the game there are some flying creatures, and believe us, they will bring you a lot of trouble. All because they can move by any routes that are impossible to predict. At the same time, only certain weapons can cope with them which are absolutely useless in a battle with the enemies moving by feet.
This suggests that positioning of air defense devices on the playing field in advance will be absolutely meaningless. You will have to keep a certain reserve of in-game currency to set the desired gun in the right place when the flying enemies are coming. Actually, to hold funds in reserve is rather difficult. Especially, when an army of feet enemies starts an intense attack and you are dying from the desire to buy a couple of guns or to upgrade those that already is available.
Gameplay featuresAnother difficulty of the gameplay lies in the fact that after a while the road starts to diverge and the enemy army begins to attack from all the four sides. Then you begin to be truly torn to pieces and in a hurry to make not quite deliberate actions. You can, of course, sell a poorly positioned gun but some material losses are inevitable in this case.
ResumeYou can download the game for free, but to unlock all the locations and levels you will have to pay for the game a small amount of money. The graphics in the game are quite good. The sound is nice as well and goes well with the gameplay. We recommend the game to all fans of the genre.
