Anodia is a new arkanoid from the studio Clueless Little Muffin Rafał Kozik, which has quickly become one of the most popular games in the Windows Phone Store. The reason for this is a very unusual gameplay that will surely provide you with the best possible experience. Your main task in this game, as indeed in most analogues, will be managing a small plaque with which it is necessary to keep some balls on the playing field until there are no extra elements left.
Game featuresAs the latter, the familiar to us blocks are used very rarely. More often they will be other geometric shapes or objects and not always they will be in plural. The game can be considered long-running only because, regardless of the size and number of the elements, the ball must hit them simply an incredible amount of times before they disappear.
At least, if it (the ball) is not endowed with a fiery power of one of the bonuses. This is especially true in cases when on the playing field there is some huge pattern that after a few hits at it gets only slightly reduced in size but still doesn't want to disappear. The game is divided into several locations, in each of which you will find a particular number of levels. For example, in a location called "Light" you are awaited by chains of street lanterns, kerosene lamps, electric light bulbs, garlands and other items that are closely related to light.
Bonuses and anti-bonusesThe number of bonuses in the game is extremely pleasing as well. Tellingly, here are both bonuses (green) and anti-bonuses (red) but, depending on the situation, even the green ones can do harm and the red ones, on the contrary, can help out. For example, one of the red anti-bonuses makes the ball shrink to a tiny size. Of course, it is more difficult to beat such a ball with the plaque, but if you manage to throw it between closely spaced elements on the playing field, it will bring you a huge amount of use by destroying the accumulation of those very elements within the overall structure.
If we take into account a magnet forcing the ball to stick to the plaque, then we personally did not like its performance and, interestingly, after the activation of the magnet, a red anti-magnet will certainly appear on the playing field which, in our opinion, should not be missed. Another example of the correct application of anti-bonuses is related to the flight speed of the ball. Some of the green bonuses allow to slow down this process but in this case the game grows a little tedious and we begin to look forward to the red accelerator for the ball.
Gravitational funnelThe main feature of the game is the gravity field which can be created in any place with a usual tap on the screen. Look in the lower right corner of the playing field, and you will see there a blue indicator in the form of a ring. If the ring is already whole, you can touch the screen somewhere and then all the balls (even if there are many of them) will flock to this area and fly there for some time destroying everything that will be nearby.
ResumeEspecially, this feature can be useful in cases when there are little objects on the playing field and it becomes very difficult to hit them. Immediately after the activation of the gravity, the blue ring empties and begins to fill with paint again. Once it becomes whole, it can be used again. At the same time, you will be notified about the filling of the ring with a special tone. In general, the game is really exciting and you certainly will like, even if you are not a fan of arcade games.
