Quality 3D graphics, dynamic game play, unusual game play, one-finger controls
No significant shortcomings
Temple Run: Brave is already familiar to many of you three-dimensional runner for Windows Phone dedicated to the release of the Disney cartoon entitled "Brave". The main character of the game is a girl named Merida who perfectly masters archery. You will have to run on fairly narrow paths laid in the forests of Scotland, and the reason for such a dynamic promenade will be a furious bear ready at any moment to tear apart the main character.
As in most of similar games, the main objective here is an endless running through a maze with timely overcoming various obstacles. As the latter, there can be found fallen trees, cliffs, stones lying around on the road, narrow paths which one can easily fall from into the water or abyss, low arches, numerous intersections and turns, and much more.
Game featuresEvery obstacle should be overcome in different ways. Somewhere you will need to make a jump, or fall on the back, or make a sharp gesture to turn at an intersection, and somewhere to pull over to the edge of the track by using an accelerometer, but that's not all. The game differs from the majority of analogues in the fact that you have to use a weapon. However, you will need to shoot not at the bear haunting the main character, but at targets that appear sometimes to the right and left of the path.
Having hit all the targets, you will receive a substantial boost to the overall game score and be able to pamper yourself in the embedded store with a purchase of bonuses or additional features. To note the targets is quite difficult, especially, given how quickly things are going. So when there's an opportunity to shoot a bow, the top of the screen displays a corresponding icon and several peculiar light bulbs. Each arrow hit a target, ignites a light bulb so you can see the results of shooting in real time and not only as the results of the game.
Of course, during the game it is advisable to pay as much attention as possible to collecting gold coins hanging over the path in long chains, because it is on their number an opportunity to once again look into the shop will depend. The game is designed of a very high quality. The locations look bright and colorful. In addition, they periodically replace each other, so we can safely assume that the game won't tire you with monotony.
ResumeIn terms of graphics, all is pretty well. If you pause the game, you can see some "roughness" but during in the game your attention will be focused on the events happening around you, and not on such trifles. The sound goes perfectly with the gameplay and will not cause you any negative feelings. We recommend the game to all fans of the genre.
