Runaway Truck is a quite good arcade game for Windows Phone in which you will find races by seven cars in six locations scattered across the continents of our planet. At the beginning of the game, you will have available an old pickup alone, but if you assess the game in the Windows Phone store, you will immediately open access to a small bugger. The remaining vehicles will be unlocked as you will progress in earning money.

Gameplay

We want to say right now, the prices for the transport are far from democratic in the game, and it's pretty difficult to earn money at the same time. This will require collecting coins scattered across the locations in short chains. If you manage not to miss a single coin in a chain, you will receive additional 20 points to the score (points, not coins). Besides the pickup and bugger, in your garage there can be a tow truck, a minibus, a large school bus, a prime mover and a SUV.

As the locations (which are also open only for a fairly large amount of money) you will see San Francisco, the Great Wall of China, Antarctic ice, rocky mountains, Egypt and even the planet of Mars. For you to understand the range of prices and complexity of earning money, we can say that for a 30-minute intense game testing we have managed to earn a little more than $300, while the cheapest car and the nearest location cost $1,000.

With reference to the design of locations, it is quite modest. In fact, each of them is a never-ending descent with lots of bumps and potholes on which you have to drive as far as possible and not to crash the car.

Controlling features

Controlling in the game is performed by using only two virtual buttons but they are responsible not for the acceleration and stopping but for the center of gravity. That is, the cars roll down the slopes on their own (perhaps, by coasting) and you only need to lift up the hood or rear of the car in time so that it lands after the jumps on all the four wheels and doesn't begin to tumble over because of every bump.

Once you seriously hit the car to the ground, and it will become a little darker. If you let it down once again, it will grow even darker. The third collision with or hit to the ground will cause an explosion and you will see the body in flames and the wheels scattering in different directions. That is, in principle, all that can be said about the gameplay.

The graphics are quite acceptable for the game of the genre, and as the accompanying sound there is a dynamic soundtrack (yes, it seems that there is only one). In general, the game will fit perfectly to get rid of free time in a queue.
