Grow is an amusing arcade game for Windows Phone in which you will help a small egg survive in the world of adult fish. It is unknown what fish shed such an offspring, but judging by the events development, we can assume that its size was just huge. To start with, let us remind you that all the eggs live and develop at the expense of the nutrient inside the shell, and we will have to maintain the resource of these nutrients so that from our hero a fish can hatch one day. By the way, the bigger the egg shell is in size, the more secure it is.
GameplaySo, the game starts with a small bottle in which some small fish will be besides the main character. Having approached them, the egg devours everything that might suffice as nutrients and from a poor little fish there is left only a skeleton and a few coins. By collecting the coins, you ensure the growth progress and as soon as you collect enough of them, you will get to the next level.
Floating in a small pond whether that be a bottle, an aquarium or something else, beware of contact with the fish, the size of which is much greater than the diameter of the egg shell. Having gathered a sufficient amount of the nutrient from small fish and having increased in the size, the egg can devour more adult bions, but there is one important nuance. The fact is that some fish are a really great danger and this will be indicated by a red aura around them. From time to time, the aura disappears and then you can safely swim to such a fish to take all the nutrients out of it.
Collect oxygen to neutralize predatorsAfter some time, in addition to fish some seaweed in bubbles will emerge in the game. So, by collecting these algae you provide the egg with a powerful weapon. Unfortunately, the algae effect doesn't last long, that's why you need to go in search of a fish surrounded by the red aura so as soon as in the lower right corner of the playing field there appears a button with a plant. Having swum closer to it, you can click on the plant and some air bubbles will scatter from the egg in different directions that will make a potential victim out of a potential enemy.
Shortly speaking, as soon as the red glowing disappears, you can send the egg for the fish with confidence that the latter will left after itself the bones and, of course, the gold. While passing level after level, you approach the moment when from the egg a fry will appear. It will no longer have the protective shell, and to turn it into a big fish you will be required even bigger carefulness. That is, probably, all that can be told about the gameplay.
ResumeThe controlling can be carried out by an accelerometer (we recommend this option) and also by a touch screen. At that, in the second case you can use a multi-positional joystick or simple taps on the places of the reservoir which you want to send the main character to. The sound doesn't feature anything extraordinary, but nevertheless is well matched with the gameplay.
