TelrisGo is a legendary Tetris - to be precise, it is rather a simulator of that very electronic toy that some of you used to hold in your hands in the far-off 90s of the previous century. You will enjoy all the same monochrome screen which fit the playing field, as well as a small section with two blocks which will appear in the game next. However, there is another small section, but we'll talk about it later.
Objectives and tasksThe essence of the game has not changed and lies in the fact that you need to fill the playing field (preferably, its lower part) with various shapes consisting of small cubes. It should be done so that in horizontal rows there are no gaps, and then these same rows will disappear preventing the total accumulation of the cubes from getting close to the upper bound of the playing field.
Each block appeared on the playing field, can be rotated at 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees with a big round button with two pointers curved in a circle. On the left side of the screen, under the playing field, there are four more buttons located diamond-shape. The left and right buttons are responsible for moving blocks in the corresponding side horizontally, the lower one speeds falling of the blocks, and you can use the upper button to drop some block to a certain place in an instant.
Additional opportunitiesIn addition to the mentioned buttons, there is one more in the game. It is located above the button responsible for turning the cubes and is illustrated with two arrows pointing in opposite directions. By making a tap on this button, you place a block from the playing field in a separate compartment which we mentioned at the beginning of the review. And when there is already a block of a certain shape in this compartment, it will be swapped with the one that was just on the playing field.
It turns out that this is some kind of a warehouse where you can put some rare block on the back burner, or vice versa, hide there a block which is currently interfering on the playing field. The distinctive feature of the button responsible for using the compartment, is that it can be pressed once per falling of a single block.
ResumeIn the game settings, you can change the color scheme of the design of both blocks and background image of the playing field. There you can also change the screen orientation from horizontal to vertical and vice versa. The game provides modes like Marathon, Time, Block Killer 47, Survival and Arcade. TelrisGo will certainly appeal to all fans of Tetris. Especially, to those who played it before obtaining a personal computer in the house.
