Muffin Knight is a very amusing game for Windows Phone which may have been attributed to platformers by looking at the screenshots, but in fact it is not so. It has more of a dynamic action, playing which you will not have a second of free time. The first point of the game is eating muffins. Yes, it's really weird. What action could be in eating sweets? It turns out, there can be one.
Game featuresThe locations are limited in width by the size of the screen, and all the action takes place in a small area. Once the main character is on the playing field, a couple of enemies will come from somewhere above. They may be different characters. At first, they will be harmless lambs, then pigs and other animals, and eventually there appear goblins. The opponents do not shoot, cut or prick. They do nothing at all and just wander from side to side until they fall into an abyss.
The problem is that your ward should not collide with other characters, whoever they are. All you need to do is to jump across the platforms and try to collect muffins that appear in various places of the locations. Another feature of the game is that after each eaten cake the main character change the image and acquires new abilities.
When acquiring the image of a knight, the main character uses a bow and arrows as a weapon, and when he becomes a magician, he obtains the ability to shoot with magical balls and throw various objects. The total number of images of the main character reaches eighteen, but at the beginning the game only four of them are unlocked. Access to the rest of them you will get progressively as earning the game points.
Don't forget to upgrade each characterIn addition to unlocking new images, you can improve those that you already have. It really is a very important point, because, for example, the knight himself has a very weak weapon which is quite difficult to destroy enemies with, and after the upgrade it becomes much easier to play. There are also lots of levels (locations) in the game, but to open access to each of them you have to collect a certain amount of muffins. Don't faint, the counting of eaten muffins does not stop even in case of death of the main character.
ResumeThat is, it is not necessarily to try to collect the required number of cakes in a single match. Especially, given the fact that it would be quite difficult to perform since your ward has only one life, and the first encounter with other characters kills him. The graphics in the game are of very high quality with hints of 3D, though the events unfold in one and the same plane. The sound is great, too, and goes well with the gameplay.
