Glyder: Adventure Worlds is an adventure game for Windows Phone where you have an opportunity to fly to the top of your bent across the futuristic worlds. Becoming the main character of the game, you will gain the wings with which you can conquer huge heights and develop a crazy speed.
The essence of the game varies depending on the location in which you are playing. Somewhere you will need to collect all the magic crystals, in other places you will have to maneuver to fly through the rings. The main thing in the game is to maintain the speed of flight at the proper level and not to approach the ground, as well as obstacles in the form of vertical walls, rocks and different structures.
ControllingBy default, the controlling of the game is performed by using an accelerometer, but you can switch it to a touch controlling and use virtual buttons. The game always begins with the fact that the main character stands on a small snout of a rock and wait for your command to start. As soon as you touch the screen, he comes to the edge of the snout and in a moment leaps down spreading the artificial wings.
In order to fly higher, you can use the updrafts of air that can be seen from a distance by the pointers pointing upward. An ascent through these flows doesn't take long, and the flows themselves are active only at a certain height, therefore, even when turning in the opposite direction after overcoming the flow, you won't be able to use it.
Peculiar method of ascendingDespite the fact that the main character himself doesn't wave the wings but only floats, there is another way to get higher and although it takes much more time, it works perfectly. So, for example, our ward is flying at a sufficient speed in order to slightly raise the front of the wing and to begin to rise. For obvious reasons, the flight speed will decrease, and the moment will come when it reaches the zero point, and then, of course, he will rapidly fall down.
You may not wait for this, and when the speed indicator starts flashing red, just point your flyer down. He will fold his wings and begin a rapid decline, and when the pointer of the speed indicator is past half of the scale, the main character can return to the starting position. The speed accelerated during the fall, will be enough to rise above the mark from which the fall began. And thus, over and over again, you will surely reach the height limit and then be able to see the location from a great height, and find all of the crystals.
ResumeIn the lower right corner of the screen there is an altimeter with which you can follow the ascent and descent. You can download the game for free and fly in the first two of the six locations. The flight looks so spectacular that you just forget why you're here and start enjoying flights in different directions. As you collect the crystals, you will have an opportunity to change the wings and other equipment giving your character greater abilities. The graphics are three-dimensional in the game and made quite accurately. The locations look, of course, a little bit modest, but as for the rest there are no complaints.
