Decent animation, quality graphics, dynamic game play, simple controls
Is lagging on some devices, bores you really quickly
Dhoom:3 The Game is a good racing by motorcycles through the narrow streets of cities, in which you will play the role of a leader of a gang engaged in their dirty business and hiding out of a crime scene by motorcycles through the urban traffic jams. The game has a direct relationship to the Indian blockbuster called "The bikers" which has become almost as popular in India as familiar to many of you "Fast and Furious".
However, this game belongs to the third part of the film, about which the world will find out no earlier than December 20 this year. So we can assume that this game is a small advertising campaign of the new film. We yet know nothing about the plot of the film itself, and the developers did not bother to write a few lines in an official review about the course of events. Although, during the game we clearly hear the police walkie-talkies present a conversation about the city of Chicago. Then again, we can tell even from the design of locations that we won't be racing through the streets of Bombay.
GameplayThe gameplay is presented as a third-person runner, and as such there is no objective in the game. You just have to overcome that distance that you have enough dexterity and strength for. The road in this game has four lanes, and judging by the double white lines painted in the middle of the road, one half of it is designed for the counter flow of traffic. However, the cars in the game race in all directions on all the four lanes (and this is really like Bombay), and this feature will bring you a lot of problems.
In addition to the dense flow of vehicles moving in different directions, on the road you will often come across a variety of barriers, cones, dividing strips, light poles, and other obstacles, each of which can be a cause for a severe accident. When driving around the city, you can collect the coins and bonuses scattered in neat chains.
In-game purchasesFor the money saved, you can buy at the store some equipment, change motorbikes, perform tuning which improves the performance of the bike, and buy what will really come in handy on the road. For example, it may be a protection that makes the main character invincible for a while, weapons allowing to destroy vehicles, and an accelerator. By the way, during the activation of the accelerator, the biker is also invulnerable as during the active protection. Among encountered bonuses there are magnets that attract coins, money bags, and badges "x2" multiplying twice the profit from the coins collected.
ResumeBy default, for the steering the accelerometer is responsible, but in the settings it is possible to activate a touch screen that is highly inadvisable (this makes it almost impossible to control). At many weak smartphones, the game runs with great problems in terms of the menu navigation (but everything's fine during the gameplay), so keep that in mind.
