Dungeon Stalker 2 is a very exciting game of the RPG genre with elements of action, where you will find a dangerous adventure. You will need to go through a number of rooms and winding corridors of a dungeon, before you get to a city and try to neutralize an evil tyrant named Overlord. Apparently, at first you were a prisoner but somehow you managed to escape from the cell and then to pick up a small stick which at the beginning of the game will play the role of a single weapon.
Over time, the range of swords and sabers in your arsenal will grow, and in addition, you will obtain knowledge in the field of magic allowing to destroy an enemy with fireballs at a distance. Sometimes, along the way you will come across bottles with colored liquids. Depending on the color of the liquid, the bottles found in various corners of the locations, will replenish health and strength of the main character. In addition to weapons and bottles, you will find magical books with which you can learn about new spells, as well as keys to different doors.
Gameplay featuresNaturally, your promenade through the dark corridors of the dungeon will teem with dangerous situations. You will periodically run into armed guards just waiting for you to blunder and paint yourself into a corner. Since the events of the game take place in the first person, you will see the locations just in front of you, and what is happening behind you or to the side, you can only guess.
However, if you don't forget to turn on the sound in the game, or even better, use headphones, you will be able to hear the approaching guards long before they notice you. Probably, the armor of the guards are very heavy, which is why they move very slowly accompanying each step with fairly loud shuffling of iron shoes on the stone floors.
Controlling nuancesAfter getting used to a fairly simple controlling, you will easily dodge the guards' blows, if you go back a couple of steps after you wave the sword. The only thing that can be a disadvantage is that joysticks which are responsible for moving the main character, have a very small active range, and while in most games the activity of a joystick doesn't stop even after you bring the finger to the middle of the screen, here you will have to long get used to clear restrictions.
ResumeThe graphics in the game are very, very good. There are little nuances in the animation, but in general, it is not critical and fans of the genre will still be delighted. Another feature of the game is that you can download it for free, if you agree to play staring at an advertising banner, or buy a game and not be distracted by extraneous things.
