Jack of Tools is a feature-rich application for Windows Phone which can be useful to any user regardless of whether he or she is a homebird, a traveler or just a fan of outdoor activities. The program's icon has a Swiss knife on it for a reason. Of course, you won't be able to open cans and tighten screws with your smart, but you will have an opportunity to use lots of its functions in a single application.
Variants of applyingDo you want to assemble a shelf at home, hang a picture or a framed photo? Nothing could be simpler! Turn on the level tool that works in three dimensions, and you will achieve the maximum precision of positioning objects relative to the horizontal or vertical. Have you decided to walk around an unfamiliar area (for example, in the woods, in a large park, or on the open sea)? Start the compass that will not only prompt the location of the magnetic and true north, as well as your coordinates, but also will let you use the geo camera with ability to view a direction of movement through the lens of the built-in smartphone camera.
Also, the application has the ability to measure the noise level in decibels and note not only the current values, but also the peak ones. Fasten the smartphone to a bike or just put it on the dashboard of a car, and you will be able to know your speed of movement. The calculation of an altitude isn't a problem for the program, too, and you can check the operation of the altimeter when traveling, for example, in the mountains or riding a roller coaster. You may not bother to experiment when in an elevator, because the program works not due to atmospheric pressure, but at the expense of signals from GPS satellites GPS which are almost impossible to catch in elevators.
Of course, such a program could not have had no flashlight, but it works only in the full version that you will have to buy. Besides, the application provides a ruler that works on the principle of a vernier caliper which can be calibrated depending on the size of the screen of your smartphone, and use as an accurate, not approximate, instrument as happens in case of some analogues.
ResumeApplication featuresAnother distinctive feature of the program is the possibility of placing live tiles on the main screen that show you useful information in real time even when you minimize the program. Surely, in this case we should expect the increased battery consumption, but we can't help to agree that this is a very handy feature. The program is available in two versions. The free version does not limit you in time of using it but it has fewer features.
