Tetris Blitz is a very unusual Tetris for Windows Phone which is characterized by the extremely dynamic gameplay and lots of combo turns. The name of the game has the word "blitz" not without reason, for sets in the game are limited by time and not by the size of the playing field which in ordinary analogues, we are trying to clear of cubes by filling empty cells.
Gameplay featuresOf course, in this game we also will try to arrange the shapes falling from above so as to fill the horizontal lines so they could disappear adding points to our game account. However, at the first the game will occasionally surprise you with some of the features, and the first thing that will seem unusual is the controlling. Here you won't see the usual buttons that allow you to move pieces horizontally. There is only one button with which you can turn them.
Until a figure lowers down upon a cluster of blocks, you will see its outlines in the most favorable locations. By clicking on such an outline, you lower the figure to this place and let another one appear on the playing field. To the right of the playing field, there is a small window that shows what will be the next figure, but frankly, because of the high dynamics of the gameplay, we have not even had time to look in the window which is actually not worth regretting.
Bonuses rangeThe game has almost no moments when the playing field is filled to the top. All thanks to the huge number of power-ups and novelties giving virtually no chance to fail the game because of inattention. At the beginning of the game, you can buy three types of bonuses allowing to pass the game more effectively. Generally, there will be much more of them. In addition, each week you will find some new bonus with great features.
Among the permanent bonuses, there is a magnet shifting all the cubes in the same direction and thereby filling the free cells. There is also a laser bonus destroying large number of blocks horizontally, and a bonus by means of which the figures fall into pieces and fill the empty cells by the force of gravity, disappearing after that from the playing field. The more game points you earn during the game, the more in-game currency you get (they are two different things and their amount is different).
ResumeThe currency is needed to purchase the ability to use the abovementioned bonuses and to open new ones. The game has excellent graphics quality and great music. The number of levels in the game is limited only by the amount of money you have available, so try to play more carefully.
