CarneyVale: Showtime is an interesting arcade game for Windows Phone in which you will be required agility and the ability to calculate the trajectory of flight of puppets spun by peculiar pendulums. Each new level starts with the fact that you have to shoot that very puppet out of a cannon. At that, you can choose the direction of the shot and its power by using gestures. However, no matter of what capacity the shot was, it is still not enough to reach the finish ring that is on fire. The further fate of the ragdoll clown will depend on your response.
GameplayAbove the cannon, you will see something like mechanical legs. While the puppet is at a great distance from such a leg, it remains motionless whatever you do, but if by the time when the puppet flies past the legs, you touch the screen and hold your finger on it, the paw will grab the main character and start to spin him.
Once you remove your finger from the screen, the mechanical paw will let the puppet go in free flight, the direction of which will depend on what position at this time the paw is keeping. Thus, you will have to raise the puppet higher and higher, so that eventually he reaches the finish line. The game may seem easy only at first glance. Imagine how hard it is to hit a certain place with, for example, a stone, if you are seriously spun. You will relax your hand either sooner, or later, and the same thing happens in this game.
Don't forget about balloonsIn addition, you have to use puppets to burst the maximum number of balloons which will be placed around each mechanical arm and in the other parts of locations. Over time, on the playing field you will face various obstacles, and if at first they are narrow areas alone, the walls of which are covered with something soft forcing the puppet bounce safely to the side, then later you will encounter electrical units and other elements running into which won't make you any good.
ResumeThe game is designed very colorfully and has fairly high-quality graphics. The sound is great, as well, and reminds us of circus performances. The game can be downloaded free of charge but, unfortunately, the demo mode will not let you pass further than the third level, while the game is really addictive. So, fans of interesting and original arcades, be ready to fork up and don't think that you will regret the purchase.
