Max & the Magic Marker is a very addictive platformer game with puzzle elements in which we have to save the world from an evil monster. Notable in the game is the fact that the main character is to blame for the appearance of the monster into the world. One day, our character received a marker by mail that was no different from an ordinary one. And for some reason, the first thing he drew with it was a terrible monster. It's nothing, except that it was the magic marker, and as soon as the boy took it off a piece of paper, the monster came to life and ran away.
Now, the main character had to at all costs find his toothy artwork and neutralize it, so that no one gets hurt. The boy ran after him and took the same magic marker with him not knowing that it started to run out of paints. So, you have to go through three magical worlds which includes a total of 15 levels, and to correct his mistake. You have to run a long distance and overcome a variety of obstacles. On the way, you need to gather round capsules with magic ink to fill the marker that will be valuable to the main character not once.
Game featuresWith this marker, you can draw everything you want, and whatever you have drawn becomes real. This way, it will be possible to travel over great cliffs, steep slopes and high hedges. The physics are involved in the game well enough, and at some points you can use the force of gravity, in order to give effect to any mechanism or lever. For example, the usual children's swing can be used as a catapult. Put the main character on one side of the swing and draw a large circle above the other. Once you have finished drawing, the circle will fall on the upper part of the swing and throw the main character higher than you might imagine.
However, in such moments the main thing is not to overdo it, though you shouldn't underestimate the situation, either. Firstly, you may throw the main character too far away, and secondly, it may happen that you waste too much paint and it will not be enough of it to overcome the next obstacle. As for underestimating, for example, in the above-mentioned situation you may draw a very small load and it won't be enough to throw the main character to the desired height. And it means that you have wasted precious paint, the reserves of which can be estimated by an indicator in the form of a marker on the left side of the screen.
ResumeControlling, graphics and soundControlling in the game is performed by using virtual buttons, the type and location of which won't keep you thinking a long time about their use. The graphics in the game are of very high quality and made in cartoon style. The animation is also on a high level, and during the journey of the main character across locations, you will be able to notice the smallest things. He even climbs some of the walls so naturally that it feels like you're watching a cartoon. The sound in Max & the Magic Marker is wonderful and fits greatly in the gameplay. The game is free, but this way only the first level of the first location is available. For the full version you will have to pay a nominal sum of money.
