Reaper is an extremely dynamic game for Windows Phone which is just packed full of different genres. Here you will find action and RPG, and something of a platformer, while the actuated controlling makes it a full-fledged slasher. The game is not so long ago appeared on the mobile market and has managed to gain a lot of fans, not only among the owners of WP-smartphones, but also among those who are the owners of iOS and Android-based devices.
Gameplay and game featuresAt your disposal there will be a funny character reminiscent of a ninja who is fluent in martial arts and uses in a battle with an enemy not only a sharp sword, but also his own feet. However, the latter allows him mainly to move away from strikes and detour the enemy, but at such a rapid development of events which you will find in the game, the ability to step back gives great benefits. The main advantages of the game can include graphics, a variety of techniques (strikes) and combos, as well as controlling.
The graphics in the game are two-dimensional, but it is made of such a high quality that it is almost nothing that it can be compared with without deep thinking. The design of this game is a little bit like in the Contre Jour, with the only difference being that in this one the drawings used are not so bright but still colorful, thereby the game locations look very nice. Plus, the game will surely delight you with the high-quality animation and a lot of special effects.
Controlling in the Reaper gameControlling in the game is performed by means of a huge number of gestures and clicks on the screen. Before the main character makes the first steps in the game world, you will be shown the screen areas responsible for a particular action. It makes no sense to stop on the gestures to right and to left, since there are zones situated under the corresponding pointers responsible for them. At the same time, the right side of the screen is able to take as many different gestures as would be difficult to perform without dislocating your fingers.
A tap on the right half of the screen allows the main character to make a jump and a double tap will throw him twice as high. An upward sliding motion of the finger will make the main character perform a small series of strokes with the sword while the movement of your finger down the screen can activate several types of attacks. If the main character stands on the ground this very time, he will just hit by the sword in front of him very hard, but if you make such a move while he is in the jump, he will fall down slam bang exposing the sword in front of him like a spear.
Swipes to the left or right allows the main character to perform lunges with a sword in the appropriate direction, and if you make a double tap on the screen while his moving, he will twirl in the air like a disk of a circular saw, and begin to crush an enemy to the smallest pieces spraying blood in around and above. In this case, our soldier won't fall to the ground as long as there is even one enemy left under him. Note that it's "under him", not "next to" him. All of the mentioned and other gestures, of course, can be combined revealing even more new combo strokes.
ResumeDuring the destruction of the enemies, you should have time to collect gold coins that appear on the place of dead creatures. The coins will be useful to you in the embedded store where you can buy a new sword and some of the outfits. The game is absolutely free, but you are allowed to play it without attachments only up to the 10th level. Then you will either have to fork out for new schticks, or buy the full game.
