Magnet Balls is an incredibly exciting game of the category of bubble-shooters in which you will find an endless stream of colored balls approaching from above. Surely you know that in this game you have to shoot the accumulations of colored balls with similar bubbles, in order to create chains of three or more pieces, after which they will disappear. In fact, there is a lot of such games and for a variety of mobile platforms, so we can safely assume that each of you has already played something like that.
To be honest, after reading reviews on this game in the Windows Phone store, we didn't want to believe them. Well, what else can you add to a familiar for many years genre to engage users as much as this product has caught them? It appears, everything is possible and this game is really addictive. The main difference from its analogues is that the balls therein are very strong magnets. This is also reflected in their behavior and in what sounds they produce by having a collision with each other.
Game featuresThe sound is figured out - the developers really did a great job, but how they managed to get so realistic behavior of bubbles, that remains a mystery for us. You will see firsthand how a ball or a small cluster of balls can behave under strong magnetic fields. When you manage to make room in the center of the cluster of balls, the void gets filled with adjacent balls (when possible), and it looks so fascinating that you will crave to create such a situation again and again.
Once a ball loses support because of a chain vanished nearby, it rushes into the empty space and perhaps joins other balls of the same color, and then they disappear. Such moments in the game are called combos and encouraged with extra points. By the way, the balls disappear quite impressive as well, and the better you play, the more often you enjoy this spectacle. When we wrote about the fact that the balls fall from above without stopping, we had in mind that in this game there is only one infinitely long level which can only end in case you make some serious mistakes.
ResumeHowever, the free version may not allow you to make these mistakes and will end in a couple of minutes making an offer to purchase the game or redirect you in the menu. Believe us, this is the rare case when money for a time-killer is worth it, especially given the fact that it costs rather cheap. We would have given more. The graphics in this game are great, the sound is wonderful, as well, and very well fits into what is happening on the other side of the screen.
