Chickens Can't Fly is a funny arcade game for Windows Phone which will help you get rid of free time and lift your spirits. When looking at the screenshots you might get the impression that the game is another jumper (like Funny Bounce or Chimpact) but this is not so. If for no other reason than because here we will travel down, not up. In this game we have to manage the chicken fell into the hands of experimenters with a vibrant imagination.

If you take a look at the game main menu, you will see that the poor chickens are sent on a dangerous journey on the conveyor belt in entire bundles, and your task is to save the life of even one of them. Each new level in the game is unique because is generated immediately before the start. However, in any case it starts with the fact that the main character is thrown into a narrow vertical corridor really stuffed with deadly traps and other hazards.

This corridor periodically starts to sway from side to side or to narrow but the worst thing isn't this but the fact that the slightest contact with any sharp objects (axes, forks, discs of a circular saw, and a lot more) kills the main character. Besides the fact that you have to evade the traps and dangers, you need to take the time to collecting bonuses. Some of them are purely symbolic and does not affect anything except the game account but others can be very useful to you.

Bonuses features

For example, a bonus can be a magnet attracting golden eggs, or a shelter which makes the chicken invincible for a while. He may also meet a huge chicken head that helps the main character overcome some difficulties but that's not all. In some levels you will surely find something high-energy from which the chicken can grow to enormous sizes. And the second encounter (for instance, with a sausage) will make the chicken even more massive.

At first we thought that the increase in size gives some advantages over obstacles but in reality it grew even more difficult. Simply because of his size the chicken has become harder to squeeze between obstacles and traps and they affected him the same way as before. So it turns out that the increase in size is not a bonus but one of the obstacles.

ControllingControlling in the game is performed by the touch screen and accelerometer. By clicking on the center of the screen you make the main character struggle to flitter (usually he flies down like a stone) and to slow the falling, and by clicking on the icons on the right side of the screen you will activate bonuses. The accelerometer is responsible for the direction of flight of the chicken. The graphics in the game are made in cartoon style and are quite decent. The sound is good as well and consistent with what is happening on the other side of the screen.
