Star is a pretty exciting time-killer for Windows Phone in which we are awaiting for very interesting challenges requiring some skill. Judging by the surroundings, we will find ourselves in the deep sea and have to play with a starfish who is eager to get down on the purple platform. The game is based on the laws of physics and of this not only the properties of the materials found in the game will speak but also the way that everything we see drowns. That is, all the motions in the game will be slow and gradual as would happen in the water.
However, there is one oddity - the absolute majority of wood does not sink but here it is the opposite. In general, for believability let us try to imagine that the game uses lignum vitae or saxaul (these trees tend to drown, indeed) and not dwell on this anymore. In addition to wooden objects there are ones made of metal, stone and glass in the game. It is clear that they all differ from each other in strength and weight which must also be taken into account in the course of the game.
GameplaySo, in almost all cases the starfish will be at the top of the playing field and a certain design of various materials will be placed under it. At the very bottom of the playing field (and not necessarily right under the starfish) there will be the exact purple platform on which we need to put down the star. The wooden blocks are destroyed with the first touch, the glass ones too but it takes time to destroy them while the stone blocks can be broken only in the event of a fall from a great height (or if something falls on them) and as long as the glass ones.
Metal objects do not break at all but they unlike the wooden and glass ones also do not hinder to reach the target. Grow confused? The thing is that the platform should be cleared of the wooden and glass blocks after the starfish is placed on it. At this, the timer at the bottom of the screen is ticking and measuring the precious seconds that affect whether you will be rewarded with a gold, silver or bronze star. Generally speaking, you should not only drop the starfish upon its place but also get rid of all the excess.
ResumeOver time, an explosive will emerge on the playing field with which you should be extremely careful. One wrong move, and the starfish will fall not on the platform but in a deep abyss, and you will have to start the level from the beginning. A total of 60 levels is waiting for you which should be enough for a few hours of fascinated playing. The graphics in the game are of excellent quality. The sound is not bad, too. The only thing that may upset some users is the presence of the advertising banner at the top of the screen. Although, admittedly, it is thanks to this thing that the game can be downloaded free of charge.
