Lushington Springs is another game for Windows Phone of the Tower Defense genre, where you will find an almost endless onslaught of enemy military forces on the territory of your country. The game is designed in a military style and its gameplay is somewhat mixed. At the beginning of hostilities you will be attacked by an infantry alone. Then on the battlefield there will emerge some thugs exceeding ordinary people in size, endurance and height (they are even bigger than some vehicles).
Then you will meet some strange beings moving through the air rather than on the ground, and only after that the enemy's military equipment will make an attack. Among this equipment there will be light-armored vehicles, heavy equipment, motorcycles, and even aircraft of the Second World War. Of course, in order to cope with the onslaught of the enemy, you have to use defensive towers with different types of weapons. For infantry and ground equipment it is machine gunners, tommy gunners and grenade throwers, and the aviation can be overwhelmed by only anti-aircraft or missile systems.
Features of upgrade and weaponry purchase
Each tower can be improved for a certain amount of money. Moreover, if in most games of this genre it is easier to upgrade something than to buy additional combat unit, here all is quite the opposite - it is easier to buy yet another tower than upgrade the current one. We are not saying that it would be better. As a rule, the most expensive posts bring more profit, and in this game this rule is also present. When you lose a couple of times (don't doubt it, this will be the beginning), you will realize that sometimes it is better to miss a couple of boundaries to your enemy's fighters, and to save up for a more serious weapon or an upgrade of a cannon positioned near the road.
And if you gradually increase the power of the defense, then at one point you will simply not be able to place a top cannon against the heavy equipment of your opponent, and will lose. Unlike most games of this genre, in this one you will come across a huge number of the so-called waves of attack. It's already in the first level of the Campaign Game mode you will be attacked 60 times, 75 times in the second, and three more locations will provide you with 300 waves. It is impossible to pass the game without losses, no matter how hard we tried. It's nice that each challenge includes a small number of additional lives allowing to continue the fight even if some enemy broke through to your borders.
Additional mode, graphics and sound
ResumeThe game also has a Survival Game mode in which you can play for the record, trying to hold on as long as possible. Another huge plus the game has earned for an excellent graphics quality and impressive detalization which is quite bearable even in cases of multitouch zoom. To sum up, we can safely say that this game is one of the hits of the genre and won't part with this title soon.
