ilomilo is a very fascinating logical game for Windows Phone in which you are to help two funny loving creatures meet and never part again. The game has got an extremely distinctive gameplay based on 3D graphics. It may sound a bit strange but it's exactly due to the graphics and opportunities it provides you can handle given tasks.
Each new level looks like an unusual platform floating in space that consists of square blocks. Both our characters are standing on one platform but in different parts of it, or on two separate platforms floating next to each other. You need to find a way our heroes can walk and eventually meet. You can operate both characters switching over them with the button in the right lower corner of the screen.
ControllingThe main characters' movements are controlled with a four-positional joystick. Just press the arrows, and your fosterling goes in the chosen direction, given there are no obstacles on his way. The latter most often are precipices, some of which can be bridged with additional elements and mechanisms. If the ridge of the precipice is illuminated with red bar, you can go towards the fall recklessly because in this case the platform just turns sideways and your character continues his or her trip over another side matter-of-factly for a vertical wall turns into a horizontal floor.
Gameplay featuresWalking the game locations you need to pick up flowers the quantity of which impacts the score, as well as seek for kiddies looking pretty similar to the main characters. It's very important to find them before our couple meets. Причем найти их нужно до того, как наша парочка встретится. As auxiliary elements the game provides blocks that can be taken from one place and put to another, and mechanisms. The latter are most often used in case of large distances between platforms; to activate them the hero need to press a button. In addition, the second character must stand on the nearest block of the precipice's opposite side.
ResumeThere are also trampolines in the game using which our fosterlings can get over little distances. The game graphics are rather nice, however during the short slideshow at the beginning of each level it seems to come from 1960s. We would not like to call it bad, it's rather surprising and funny. The accompanying sound is quite pleasing and correlate with the gameplay.
