Monster Island is another exciting arcade game from the developers of Miniclip, which will surely appeal to all those who have been delighted with the game called Fragger. The gameplay of the two games is almost identical, but from the title it is clear that in Monster Island we will be dealing with a variety of monsters. Tellingly, the monsters here are not only the main character and his victims, but also the shells to be thrown into the most inaccessible places.
Gameplay featuresCompared with the previously released analogue this game has a very large number of mechanisms, and most of them will be a difficult hurdle for you but some of them will vice versa contribute to the destruction of monsters. All you can do is to aim accurately before throwing another grenade choosing the right direction, the power of throwing and the moment. Yes, a lot here will depend on the moment of throwing, for in cases when the playing field are filled with mechanisms and some moving platforms, an opportunity to destroy monsters appear periodically and in certain places.
The next thing that makes the game different is a range of available weapons. You don't have an opportunity to choose what to throw into bullies. It all depends on the level. In some missions you'll find in your arsenal grenades that explode after a collision with an obstacle, in others at your disposal there will be the same grenades only exploding after a stop, in the third ones ammunition will consist of ordinary cobblestones that can not only knock down the monsters but also break walls, in the fourth ones there will be timer bombs, and so on.
HilariousitiesThe most funny thing in the game is the way the monsters behave when you are trying to destroy them. If you think too long about before you throw, they may begin to belly dance and wriggle. If you miss, they start teasing you sticking out their tongues at you, or sneering mockingly. But when a grenade occurs at their feet, and they realize that their lives will last not more than a second, their faces get overwhelmed with terror, and they freeze in a terrible grimace. If you hit a monster with a stone or a grenade a few times, he grows angry the same way as bandits in the Fragger game.
ResumeThe graphics in the game are very nice and is designed in cartoon style. Sound and music is also wonderful and can easily perk up your mood. Controlling is performed by means of touches, and one finger for that is enough. You can download Monster Island for Windows Phone for free and pass a few levels before you make your decision about buying the game.
