A simple puzzle game

Caters to two types of players, interesting puzzles, nothing is locked behind paywalls
Could use better visuals
Unblock Me for Android takes me back to some of my first days playing around with Flash games on the internet. Back then you needed to get your car out of a congested parking lot. Same idea, just different visuals.
In this game you’ve got brown blocks and your single red block. Like the cars, you need to clear a path to get to the exit. This is much easier said than done. Despite there being 25 tiles, there are tons of configurations to make sliding blocks out of the way difficult. In many cases, you’ll need to make very specific moves in a specific order to unblock your piece.
The game has two different modes: a casual mode and a more hardcore mode. The casual mode will let you complete a puzzle at your leisure. The more difficult mode will record your time and force you to complete the puzzle within a certain amount of moves. This is a great addition because it easily caters to two very different types of players.
Ideally, I would have liked to have seen a more contemporary art style. I felt like I had reviewed this game before because there was another game that looks very similar. We don’t always need to unblock wooden blocks.
Unblock Me is a great puzzle game that is fun for just about anyone. The visuals are dated, but the gameplay is just as fun as it's ever been. Give this one a shot if you’re a fan of puzzle games.
