Author: Alexander Vorobyev
Date: tested on 21 Feb 2013 on
Simple and user-friendly interface, functions quickly, over 450 mln users, functions quickly, elaborated interface, neat design
Unavailable for tablets, no significant drawbacks
Whatsapp is the world’s most famous and user-friendly chatting app that was recently, in February 2014, acquired by Facebook. The application uses your Internet connection and lets you chat with any person from your phone contact list who is registered with Whatsapp. The application is available only on mobile phones.
The app main perk is that it’s cross-platform and therefore it doesn’t really matter what devices your friends use. You’ll be able to chat with them anyway. The program features only the basic functions that let you chat in private or groups as well as use smileys and send photos, videos, and audios to the person you’re chatting with.
The interface is really intuitive and therefore we don’t think that you would have any problem with getting started. The app will become your best aid if you need to stay in touch with family or friends that live abroad.
Whatsapp is the world’s most popular online chatting application which is highly user-friendly and functions really quickly. Now you can forget about texting or emailing. Unfortunately, the software isn’t available on tablets. Apart from it, it doesn’t feature any significant drawbacks.
