Review Clouds & Sheep 2
A great ranch managing game

Good graphics, lots to do, fun gameplay
In Clouds & Sheep 2 for Android, you’ll manage a flock of sheep as they live out their lives on a safe and cutesy ranch out in the middle of nowhere. You’ll solve quests, take care of your sheeps’ needs, plant flowers and trees, sheer your animals, collect happy stars, and plenty more. There is a lot to do here, and I was rather surprised by how much this game resembled a clicker.
In the beginning, the game will start you on a pretty lengthy tutorial that shows you the ropes. I’m not a fan of lengthy tutorials, but there are a lot of gesture controls built into the game that sort of require you to be paying attention in order to know what you need to do to make your sheep happy and get the most out of your ranch.
The first thing you’ll want to work on is getting your sheep happy, and this is done by delving into the game’s many systems. The first few things you realize you can do consist of moving the sheep around. For instance, you can tap and hold a sheep to place it on some grass in order to feed them. You can also pick them up and fling them into the air, which actually raises their happiness. Grabbing and pulling their tails will also send them rolling, another thing these masochistic sheep enjoy.
You’ll soon learn that you can plant flowers and trees, too. Feeding a sheep a flower will cause it to fall in love. If you grab two sheep who are in love and place them next to each other then they will reproduce by creating a heart, which you take and drag it to a cloud. The cloud then spits a baby sheep out. This is exactly how my parents taught me sheep were made, too.
I had a lot more fun with Clouds and Sheep 2 than I ever thought I would. It’s one of those games that you won’t be spending tons of time in, though. The farm sort of persists while you’re not there, so you’ll likely find yourself checking it like you check Facebook.
