Fast and furious gameplay, cute character design, rewards aren't a grind
The difficulty cliff is too steep
Think you’ve got fast reflexes? Try your hand at World of Warriors: Duel for Android. It’s an endless arcade game that pits you in a duel against warriors from all around the world. You’ll defeat countless warriors as you make your way to the top, and there are more than 30 warriors to unlock along the way.
This is an absolutely fantastic mobile game because everything is so incredibly fast. Duels only last about a second, though the setup time is a bit longer. This is because whoever strikes first is declared the winner. An announcer will count down, not always consistently, so you need to be ready to smash your finger on the screen the very moment he says “Fight!”
If that sounds easy, it’s because it is. At least for the first ten levels or so. You’ll quickly find yourself matched up against foes who are attacking you in less than .35ths of a second, which is incredibly fast. In fact, once I hit that point, the game sort of began to get a little frustrating. You have to constantly fight your way back up the ladder, and I’d argue that at those speeds, that’s going to be the stopping point for many people. My record was .27ths of a second, which didn’t seem that fast, but I never came close to beating it again.
Fortunately, unlocking the new warriors is pretty fun and doesn’t take that long to do it. They cost around 1,000 coins each and you’ll find yourself making that much money in no time. If you’re impatient, you can watch a video that will instantly give you 1,000 coins. A win-win.
World of Warriors: Duel is an awesome mobile game because it’s so much fun to play and it doesn’t require an extensive tutorial or a lot of time investment.
