Review Cliffy Jump : Heroes never die
A surprisingly good reaction game

Excellent graphics, fun mechanics, quick to get in and out of games
Annoying ad pop-ups
When you first take a look at Cliffy Jump for Android, there are two things that will cross your mind: this sounds like some kind of bad Crossy Road clone, and this is probably gonna be bad. Fortunately, it’s not either of those things. Looks can be deceiving.
The game plays out very much like a jumping puzzle game. There are tons of levels, each set in its own environment, and each gets progressively more difficult as you go. The first puzzle you’ll start in is simple and has one jump in it. The next will introduce another. As you go along, each jumping puzzle gets more complicated and more confusing to to navigate through. Some of the later levels end up being pretty confusing.
Unfortunately, reward-wise, there isn’t much going on. You play as a dog, and there are other dog characters that are playable, but you have to be will to spend a buck on each one, which is entirely too much for a simple skin change on a character you can barely see to begin with. You can collect coins, but it’s an incredibly slow process, maybe one coin a level, and they don’t really buy you anything.
Gameplay is really fun, though. Way more fun than I was expecting. Nothing is too difficult, and every time I died it felt like it was totally my fault. Some levels do begin to get difficult to “read” but that seems to be part of the difficulty. The game’s only major downside is the incredibly annoying ads that pop up all the time. They’re not super bad, but they’re enough to be annoying.
Overall, Cliffy Jump is a game worthy of a look. Gameplay feels unique and fun. So while it may sound like a knockoff, it’s really its own beast.
