A Mario clone with decent play - much improved over Lep 1

Funny sounds, interesting levels, decent game play, responsive controls
Very common, bores you really quickly
Lep's World 2 for Android is the sequel to the very popular first edition of this game. This one is more polished and offers better play than the original, but it's still relatively uninspired.
Lep's World 2 seems to have taken note of all the user feedback they got on their first edition of the game, and implemented the appropriate changes into this sequel. The play is much smoother, the graphics are better and the presentation is more refined and pleasing to the eye. This is your basic side scroller, Mario Brothers clone. Like the first edition, this app is set to a leprechaun theme. Just run left or right to advance through the Lucky Charms style game environment; punch bricks, collect coins and hurl pine cones at enemies that cross your path and mean to do you harm.
The graphics are decent; it looks and plays like retro Nintendo. The animation is better than in the first version and I found it more interesting visually and more of a complete gaming experience over the first one. This is probably where the original app should have started from, and part 2, should have taken us to a completely different world. As it is, this Lep Redux is just a more polished version of the original app, with little inspiration when it comes to the play and levels. It's not so much a new game as it is a comprehensive update.
The controls worked well and the sounds are amusing. There are tons of levels, but if you've already played all the various editions of Mario, including Lep 1, then you might be bored to tears with Lep 2. It’s cute and well done, but there’s really no originality here.
Lep's World 2 is a competent side scrolling game. It checks all the right boxes, but just doesn't do it with much intrigue or originality. Fun if this genre is your bag, but not very memorable.
