Full featured, 2000+ icons, well designed
The icon request process is a little odd
I’ll preface this by saying the Materialistik Icon Pack for Android is the icon pack I’ve been using on my own device for months now. That being said, I think it’s one of the best icon packs on the market right now and here is why.
First off, it’s incredibly close to be vanilla Android. I mean, isn’t that what it’s trying to do? Well, yes, but it does spin a slight twist on the colors by giving them all a warmer tone than they would typically have. If you’re someone like me who really enjoys swapping layouts a lot then this icon pack is great to build around.
I personally found that the icon pack really popped with wallpapers that were very monochromatic. Pics of my current setup can be found above this review. Alternatively, it also blends in really well with Google’s new material look, which seems obvious considering its name.
Looks are great, but icon packs also need to be packed with some good features to really stand out. Sounds odd, doesn’t it? Well it shouldn’t. When you launch the app, you are brough to a rather attractive material interface. From here you can apply the icon pack without having to dig into your launcher’s settings. You can also view through all of the 2000+ icons. That’s right, this thing is packed with icons. There are only a few apps I have that this doesn’t cover, and since it’s so true to Google’s material guidelines, I can’t really tell the difference between them aside from the colors.
Materialistik Icon Pack is one of the top three icon packs on Android for a reason: because it’s got thousands of icons and wallpapers packed into an app that has great functionality.
