AMC Security- Antivirus, Clean for Android is an all around security utility that offers fast scans and comprehensive protection, all in one convenient interface.

AMC Security- Antivirus, Clean offers all the tools needed to protect your gizmo and keep it functioning in top form. I think a few of the features are a tad redundant, but for the most part, this is a very good suite. I ran a security scan and it completed in just over a minute. Naturally, this will vary depending on the number of files you have. The visuals accompanying the scan give you something interesting to look at while waiting, and the confidence that something useful is actually happening. The layout is inviting and encourages you to explore what is typically a flat experience. Some of the menus are a little small and hard to read though and could be tweaked.

Personally, I don't give much weight to the task killers and battery saving methods offered in this app. That's what extended batteries are for, and to think you're going to gain any meaningful battery life improvements by killing a few tasks is just an exercise in futility. So that part of this app serves no real function to me, however, the web protection, anti-phishing and privacy locker are all great and function well. Some of these enhanced features are available in the paid version only. The app functional in portrait only.

AMC Security- Antivirus, Clean is a well rounded internet security suite, and best of all, the antivirus portion of the app remains totally free to use, so there's really no harm in downloading and trying this app to see if it fits your needs. Overall, very nicely done with an intuitive and user friendly interface.
