Decent graphics, decent game play, one-finger controls
Too easy, the game is too short, bores you really quickly
Fun Bubble Jump for Android is a simple and charming game that anyone who had a rubber ducky as a child can appreciate. It's also cool if you love to play with soap bubbles, minus the icky messy part. This is a replay game at heart, and all you're doing is trying to keep a rubber ducky afloat as it is encased by various soap bubbles. Once encircled by a bubble, the ducky floats upward, which actually doesn't make sense, because soap bubbles aren't filled with helium and tend to float downwards more than they go up. But okay, whatever.
The objective, is to prevent your ducky from floating up and off the screen. So all you need do is tap and pop the bubble he's riding to make him drop and land inside another bubble. Oh, and you also can't let him fall below the bottom of your screen too, so timing is key, and you have to spot the next bubble your ducky will occupy while popping the one he's currently in. So essentially, your ducky is just being transferred from one bubble to the next, staying afloat as long as possible.
The visuals are simple and suited the play. The physics are actually pretty decent, for what little they do, and the play is mildly entertaining as an occasional time killer. It's possible to rack up decent scores, however, it all gets kind of old fairly fast.
Fun Bubble Jump is best suited for occasional play when you have a couple minutes to burn, provided you remember the app is even installed on your gizmo.
