Beautiful graphics, gives players access to every part of the game with no in-app purchases
You can only race against yourself, difficulty makes the physics just ridiculous
Now here is an interesting racing game. Cava Racing for Android uses difficult drifting mechanics and challenges you to beat your best time by racing you against ghosts. Oddly enough, the game is completely free and there are no in-app purchases, which is something I haven't seen in quite some time.
One possible explanation for the open philosophy the game has is the lack of content. They're are six levels that are unlocked by simply playing through each of them. Level design is a bit too simple though. I found most of them to be pretty forgetful minus the ones that had something completely unique to it, like portals.
There are no other vehicles to unlock and no way to upgrade the one you have, it's totally skill based. That said, there are multiple difficulty modes. Each mode changes the physics of the game. I found this out on accident because I selected expert instead of normally and drove around the level in a way I can only assume a drunk driver would.
Your vehicle is navigated by using on-screen buttons and you really need to lead the vehicle when turning or you'll run into walls. Vehicle does exist and you'll blow up if you hit the wall too many times.
Cava Racing is fun for a while, but I found the lack of content to be a bit disappointing because it doesn't take very long to play through what's there and there isn't too much reason to continue playing unless you absolutely love the game.
