Pop all the invading monsters

Engaging gameplay, family friendly aesthetic, easy to get into, hard to master
It’s definitely a tiring game physically, could definitely use some kind of progression system
So the earth has been invaded by these adorable monsters that float down from the sky. The bad news is that eventually these cute bubbly monsters actually turn into straight up death. The only way to save Earth is to pop them all in POP: Nice Monster Game for Android.
Popping these monsters are a lot like popping bubbles. All you’ve gotta do is just touch them with your finger and pop! There are various types of monsters, but the only real distinguishable features are the various colors they change when they become tougher to pop. Weaker monsters only take one touch while tougher ones might take several. When you touch a monster it will actually jump higher a bit, so it gives you a chance to juggle it amongst others.
Once you start to get a higher score you’ll notice power-ups start to pop up along with skull and crossbones that actually take points away from you. Power-up’s can do things like slow down the fall speed of monsters or open up a black hole at the bottom of the screen that sucks them all in.
Gameplay is fun, fast, and fluid. But I felt like it was maybe missing some variation. As far as I could tell, there were only a handful of monsters and the gameplay never really changes. The environment remains the same and there is no progression system built in, so you’re only ever left up to trying to beat your high score over and over again.
POP: Nice Monster Game is a game I’d recommend to anyone who likes to keep their fingers moving because it’ll definitely do that for you. It’s got a few downfalls, and I think it’s a bit light on content too. But if you’re looking for a fun escape then it can do that for you.
