Review Hi Locker - Your Lock Screen

Jay Feldman
9.6Excellent
Powerful functionality, various features, intuitive interface
Glitches, lags a bit
Hi Locker - Your Lock Screen for Android aims to deliver more power and functionality to your lockscreen. View or archive notifications, launch your most frequently used apps and even adds some drawing and PIN security features for good measure. This one has a lot to offer and is worth checking out.
Hi Locker - Your Lock Screen functions in both portrait and landscape, however, landscape views are glitchy and cut off your view from most of the functionality you are meant to make use of. The app will ask you to input your name so the lockscreen can greet you on a first name basis, which is nice. You can also view a nice, large digital clock, and beneath that, view the current temperature and day's forecast. Beneath that, is where all your notifications appear, and that's all the stuff that gets cut off if you try using the app in landscape.
Swiping notifications to the left dismisses the notification, while swiping to the right opens the notification's corresponding app. Swiping the entire lockscreen to the left opens another screen where you can view your day's appointments and launch your calendar app. And finally, touching and holding the circular lock icon at the bottom of your screen opens a short menu of commonly used app, like a web browser, music player and messaging app; or you can just simply unlock your screen - go figure. The app has a security measure that adds numerical PIN or gesture commands to unlock your screen when away from your WiFi connection, and disables those security options when you are within your network.
Hi Locker - Your Lock Screen has a lot to offer, despite the landscape glitch. This one is worth checking out.
