Puzzles are all fairly simple
I’m a huge proponent for the internet and I personally think it’s one of the greatest inventions ever created. When asked to hook up a bunch of sheep to the internet, I’ll admit, I was a little perplexed. Connect Sheep for Android is a game all about this, though, but you never really figure out why.
The entire goal of this game is to help contribute to this global goal: connecting one billion sheep worldwide. What happens when this goal is accomplished? No one knows. Why do sheep want to access the internet? No one knows.
But, what I can tell you is that this is a super casual puzzle game that’s enjoyable in a sort of half-paying-attention kind of way. I say this because I found myself about 30 levels into the game and abruptly stopped to ask myself what I was actually doing because nothing ever got any harder.
The game gives you a modem and you create unique paths to each sheep. Further down the road you’re given other familiar tools like a router and WI-FI hotspot to get all the sheep hooked up. The entire game I was waiting for something to kind of pop up and engage me but nothing happened. The other strange thing is that I also just felt compelled to keep hooking sheep up.
So, while Connect Sheep might be a bit of a mystery, it’s still not a bad experience and curiosity might get the best of me because I’ve still got sheep on my mind today.
