Review POP 2.0 - Prototyping on Paper

Interesting functionality, various features, simple interface
Weak functionality, old fashioned design, full version is paid
POP 2.0 - Prototyping on Paper for Android is a pragmatic app that aims to help you plan and develop your app ideas. String together concept sketches and app pages into a working model of your app idea and glean some insight as to how it might function. This one is interesting and has some actual pragmatic value.
POP 2.0 - Prototyping on Paper displays in portrait, so here's hoping your next great app idea isn't in landscape. The basic idea behind this one, is it's a developer's tool for anyone who has a great idea for an app. The format is a bit like a storyboard, where you draw each page for the app you envision, then you import those drawing or graphic renderings into this app, where you can add basic button commands that navigate through the screen samples you've created. The app can make use of Photoshop project files, which can easily be imported from Dropbox, however, you will have to adhere to some basic formatting limits, which is basically, 768x1280 pixel dimensions. Sadly, the app is sorely lacking in an onscreen drawing feature of its very own and the developers seem quite content to leave things that way.
The app follows a very simple presentation, offering old school menus and basic screens that are in need of some inspiration themselves. You can create project models on your own or collaborate with others, and even get advice and valuable comments. You'll need to sign up for an account to activate the collaborative features. You are only allowed one personal project and one sample project for free, while additional projects will require a premium upgrade.
POP 2.0 - Prototyping on Paper is a cool idea and a novel way to create app mockups, though is perhaps highly limited and unnecessary.
