Quality soundtrack, neat graphics, addictive game play, simple controls
Follow the Line 2 for Android has a very simple gameplay concept that you may have even seen before, but it presents it to players in an incredible manner. The graphics are very appealing to the eyes, despite being made out of basic block shapes and colors.
Even though it is very easy to get to grips with, there's something about this game that is incredibly addictive. Every time you start a new game, you'll be asked to hold your finger down on the screen. Doing so will make a small dot follow your finger. The objective of the game is to steer the dot through a white course, using your finger as guidance. Your finger can't touch anything that isn't white - doing this will end the game. The screen is constantly moving upwards, forcing you to move quickly.
The level design in this game is really smart - whilst there is only one single level, it has been developed so that it's slightly different each time. You may notice some elements in each run that look familiar, but they are placed randomly so you never really know what to expect round the next corner.
You may think that moving the dot through a level whilst staying on the white lines is challenging enough, but there are more challenges waiting for you in this game. Many of the elements in each run will move - sometimes colored areas will move, whilst other times the white lines you need to move across will move. You'll need good timing, steady control and a lot of quick thinking to keep playing.
Follow the Line 2 is free. There are no in-app purchases, and although there are adverts, they are not very invasive.
