Robrain for Android is a 2D maze puzzler featuring a little robot on wheels. Controlling with an on screen joystick, you can move left to right, push boxes around, and up to climb ladders. There's no way to jump, so you have to think carefully about which way to push boxes so you can get to the rocket and blast off to the next level.
You also have to collect all the batteries / fuel canisters in each level, before rolling to the rocket.
There are some very clever twists, right from the first few levels, that will have you scratching your head. It's important to remember that your robot can fall a very long way, without being harmed.
I liked the simple design, but I felt like everything was a bit small, so it's kind of hard to tell what things are at first. I assume that's because eventually you get to huge levels that fill the whole screen. I'm looking forward to that, because even the small levels at the start require a bit of thought.
It's possible to get stuck, for example by landing on the wrong side of a brick, or by pushing two bricks together which then can't be pushed further. The restart button should be easier to get to. It's a neat little game. and challenging from the outset. Once you've figured out what everything is, the robot is actually quite cute in the way it moves around like a scurrying spider.
