Review ycon - make your emoticon
Create custom emoticons with your own face
Author: Jay Feldman

Lots of settings, interesting functionality, simple interface
Not enough of settings, old fashioned design, lags a bit
ycon - make your emoticon for Android aims to add some hilarity to your emoticons. Give your messages that personal touch by adding your own face to an array of customizable emoticons that you can create and use with just a few clicks.
ycon - make your emoticon displays in portrait and opens to reveal a very simple, vertically scrolling interface. There's a short menu at the top of your screen with various emoticon looking icons, denoting all the different moods and categories available; from happy to outright ornery. Just select the mood you're interested in to bring up a vertically scrolling list of all available emoticons that can be tweaked for that particular category. There's also an exhaustive collection of stickers, populated with several circular icons denoting all available categories to select from, including, bedtime, adventure, brilliant surgeon, school life, farmer, and far too many more to list.
To make the magic happen, just select any emoticon you'd like to customize. You can use an existing picture off your camera roll, or just snap off a new one within the app. Either way, you are shown a cutout of a head, and all you gotta do is center the subject's face within those parameters. From there, you can rotate and zoom in or out to get a perfect fit, then save your newly created emoticon. You can now use your emoticons with your favorite messaging app and send them as pictures, stickers or attachments, as the case may be. How the emoticons are implemented will vary depending on the host app you're using.
ycon - make your emoticon reminds me of those old time cardboard cutouts, where you place your head atop the cardboard shoulders of a goofy body. The results are truly comical.
