High production value, the art style and animations are amazing, gameplay is fun and dynamic
The in-app purchases are shown by default when you go to the store, the jumping mechanics feel a bit heavy
We’ve always known there were more than just three dimensions in the known universe, but unfortunately Disney haven’t found a way to peer into the seventh with this game, despite what you might think when you see the title. The 7D Mine Train for Android is an endless runner for kids that features the seven dwarves from a new show coming out on Disney called 7D.
So, just to be clear, these are still pretty much the same original seven dwarves from the original Snow White, and you get to play with each of them basically right from the start. The object of the game is to race around on mine carts completing various objectives so you can get hearts. Hearts are basically currency that you can use to buy power-ups and new carts for your dwarves.
Disney typically has pretty decent production value in all of its games and this one is really no different. The animation is smooth and the aesthetic is the same as the upcoming show. Levels change dynamically as you progress through each run and it’s really fun to see what’s going to be popping up next.
The controls are fluid and there are a lot of obstacles and paths that really add to the total gameplay experience. The 7D Mine Train is definitely a game I could confidently give to my children to play and know they’d be entertained. There are some in-app purchases but none of them are crucial to the gameplay so don’t hesitate to give this one a go.
