Review Jewel Mash
Unoriginal match three with nice graphics

Quality graphics, lots of levels, addictive game play, simple controls
Not interesting game play, in-app purchases
Jewel Mash for Android is your typical match three game that paints a unique pirate themed appearance over the top of everything. When it comes to gameplay though, there is very little that makes this game stand out.
The first area you will be introduced to in this game is the level screen. From here, you are shown the typical 'level road' that we have seen from countless other match three games that have become popular over the last few years. When it comes to gameplay, you will need to match jewels together to reach a certain amount of points within a set amount of moves.
If you match more than three jewels together, powered jewels will be created, and these can be used to destroy lines of jewels, blocks of jewels, or remove boxes that are blocking space on the level. To keep things a little more interesting, each board on every level will have it's own shape, and jewels will fall into this board appropriately.
The graphics and sound in this game are actually very decent, and the developer has opted for a more traditional paint-style art design, and this makes it stand out from most of the color-crazy match three games that pack as much bright graphics into the screen as possible.
Jewel Mash is a free game, but as you can expect, there are in-app purchases that can unlock power-ups to help you get past levels. This is a fun game, and there are hours worth of free content to be played here. The sad thing is it lacks originality. There are already hundreds, if not thousands of games just like this on the Google Play store.
