Review Titans

Ollie Green
Neat graphics, interesting plot, interesting game play, one-finger controls
In-app purchases
Titans for Android is a very unique card game with a dash of RNG based card collecting and lots of story-based exploration. There is plenty to keep you playing as you collect more cards and build up your deck.
This game takes you through a fantasy story as you play through different levels placed out on the level screen. Each level features a room where you must uncover four different cards from a selection provided to you. The cards can either contain resources for upgrading your own cards, or mobs that you must battle against.
Battling in this game is fairly similar to other card fighting games. You will go up against a number of different cards at once, and you can choose to attack and target different cards. Each of your own cards will have their own special abilities, and using these to their best potential will help you to deal with harder mobs.
Once you have uncovered four different cards on the level, you'll complete it and a level bonus will be rewarded to you. Collecting resources from each level will allow you to upgrade the cards you already own, but it will also allow you to unwrap new cards. There is a huge variety of different monsters, class types and abilities, and they have all been illustrated amazingly well. Opening up a new card never gets old. The story in this game is also quite engaging, and playing through the levels would honestly be a bit boring if it wasn't for the detailed story and in-game graphics.
Unfortunately, Titans is not completely free. Whilst the base game can be downloaded for no price, there are a range of in-app purchases that are required if you really want to make the most out of the game.
