Even more boring than real fishing

Decent graphics, simple controls
Very common, bores you really quickly, low quality animation
Fishing Paradise 3D Free+ for Android is a virtual fishing game that comes off like an old school platformer, only it's totally by accident, and not at all a good thing. Fish various lakes and rivers and employ shoddy mechanics. This one is terrible.
Fishing Paradise 3D Free+ displays in landscape and takes forever to load, so bring copious amounts of patience with you if you dare play this hot mess of a game. As the story goes, there's fish to be caught and you're the poor sap stuck trying to do it with this sad sorry excuse for a mobile game. The game boasts it's TV show roots, as seen in South Bend's Lunkerville, but that mild claim to fame is about as exciting as this one gets. There's a really nice interactive map, and all you gotta do is pick a location to fish. From there, you're standing dockside, casting your line and waiting for a bite. It's all rather cookie cutter and would be considered really cutting edge, maybe 10 years ago.
The controls are very crude and unrefined; you really can't even reel in your catch or do much of anything interesting with this one. The graphics are the game's best selling feature, and believe me, that's not saying much. The visuals are colorful and modestly inviting, in a cartoonish, CGI sorta way. The animation is very rudimentary, laggy, and you don't even get the satisfaction of seeing your catch wiggle on the line when you reel him in. The sounds are decent, featuring twangy music that's sure to grate on the nerves before long.
Fishing Paradise 3D Free+ is boring and uninteresting, and that's the good part.
