Boring and dull match 3 play
Author: Jay Feldman

Decent graphics, simple controls
Too easy, very common, low quality animation
3 Candy: Jolly Ranch for Android offers tried and true match 3 play with fruits and vegetables. Just complete specific objectives within a set number of moves to win each round. The play is very common, but is sure to be a hit with diehard fans of the genre.
3 Candy: Jolly Ranch displays in landscape to deliver a fairly tried and true match 3 environment, as played on a grid populated with various fruits and vegetables. Your mission, is to make matches of 3 or more, triggering some decent power ups and chain reactions along the way. There's a plank on the left side telling you how many moves you've got left, and 3 basic power ups along the right side of your screen that are lit up when available to use. You can make matches on the horizontal and vertical, and you just need to reach the target score within a set number of moves to win each round. The play feels very rudimentary and crude, and that's the good part.
The controls use basic swipes and slides typical to the genre, and functioned as expected. The graphics feel needlessly small and distant, effectively keeping you at arm's reach from the play. The animation is overly crude and simple and adds virtually no entertainment value to this lethargic retread of a game. And the sounds feature twangy country style music that's highly repetitive and grates on the nerves lickety-split; which is the most action you'll see outta this game.
3 Candy: Jolly Ranch is hardly worth the download. Only the truest of match 3 fans will find this one even remotely interesting.
