Neat graphics, exciting plot, simple controls
Too easy, unbalanced levels, bores you really quickly
Zombie Combat: Trigger Call 3D for Android is a deceptively simple zombie shooter that delivers some genuine creeps and chills. Stand your ground and blast the crap outta anything that looks hungry for brains. This one is simple and effective.
Zombie Combat: Trigger Call 3D takes place in various desolate metropolitan locales after a zombie outbreak leaves everything in ruin. As the story goes, you're one of the lone survivors, and lucky for you, you've got copious amounts of ammunition and some really cool weaponry that could blast a hole through a brick wall. So naturally, you do the only logical thing and head on out into the mean streets of zombieville and start taking some target practice. The bad news, is that all the zombies can smell you from a mile away and are slithering on over to try and munch you as an afternoon snack. All you gotta do is keep blasting and reloading, and hope you don't turn into an hors d'oeuvres.
The controls have just enough variance to keep things interesting, using pan and scan swipe commands to view your environment, and a radar map on the upper right alerting you to the zombies coming at you in all directions. The graphics are effectively creepy, as seen from your point of view as if you were standing in the thick of the action. The animation is a tad crude at times, but there's plenty of blood as bullets burst on impact, and a few pints of your own to be seen when you ultimately die. The sounds made my skin crawl.
Zombie Combat: Trigger Call 3D is basically a replay game at its heart because the play never lasts all that long. The game is fun in small doses and gets boring fast.
