Neat graphics, decent game play, two-finger controls
Too easy, very common, slow animation
Teddy Floppy Ear: The Race for Android is a simple and somewhat rudimentary go-cart racing game with teddy bears and fuzzy little cute critters. Choose your track then burn some rubber and see who makes it to the finish line first. This one is ideal for kids of all ages.
Teddy Floppy Ear: The Race takes place in your favorite cartoon neighborhood, where kitties, doggies, piggies, the occasional child and fuzzy little teddy bears play. The streets are filled with obstacles and look like the Indy 500 for children just hit town. Your mission, naturally, is to race an array of high impact tracks and try to beat computer and online opponents. There's power ups to earn, go-fast boosters and some bottles of yummy milk every growing bear should consume regularly. The play is simple, lively and inviting. No, seasoned players probably won’t find this all too entertaining, but kids will love it.
The controls use basic forward and reverse buttons on either side of your screen, which can be operated by your two favorite digits. The graphics offer some high impact visuals that invite you into the play and effectively draw an inviting neighborhood where any good little bear would love to play and make new friends. The animation is the game's weakest element, rendering some lethargic races that are a little too plodding, but likely a good fit for young racers. The sounds are upbeat but get a tad monotonous over time.
Teddy Floppy Ear: The Race is a quality children's app that remains simple and accessible.
