Quick Break Pool for Android is an amazing pool game that offers various modes of play, online capabilities, and challenging AI opponents.
Pool is a game we've all played or at least heard of, but when it comes to bringing pool games to mobile, it just doesn't feel right. It seems so hard to get a mobile pool game perfect. There are so many layers of physics related to how the balls react when you hit them that very few mobile pool games manage to simulate a real game of pool. Fortunately, this game has done a great job at providing an experience that feels very close to the real thing, despite being on your phone.
Whilst setting up angles could be a little easier, it's totally possible to set up all sorts of amazing shots on this game, and you're really given freedom over how you take your next shot. On top of being able to move the cue around the table to get the best angle, you can even choose how much power you'd like on your shot, and at what position of the ball you'd like to hit. There are plenty of game modes to test your skills in, and you can also play it out against 30 AI opponents that get more difficult as you play through them.
There is also an online mode in this game that will let you play against other players across the world. When you find a game, everything goes very smoothly, but the small player base often makes it hard to find a match unless you are prepared to wait for a long time. One last thing worth mentioning about this game is it's amazing graphics. On top of having a detailed 3D view of the pool table, you can switch in and out of a 2D mode as well. The 3D mode looks great, but 2D mode allows you to line up each shot perfectly.
Quick Break Pool is free and there are absolutely no in-app purchases to deal with. There are advertisements in this game.
