Neat graphics, lots of levels, unusual game play, quality physics
Inconvenient controls, too many ads
Shapes for Android gives you a free 360 degrees platform to create shapes in. You'll be given a bunch of levels that require you to make a certain shape with the lines and dots provided. You won't be able to move on to the next level until you have created the right shape.
On each level in this game, you will start with a blank screen that is covered in a formation of dots. You'll be given a set amount of lines that you must use to connect the dots together. To move on to the next level, all of the lines must be connected to a dot to make a shape. Because the dots are displayed in a three dimensional plane, you will need to use your fingers to rotate the camera to get a better view of each level.
For the most part, the controls in this game work reliably, but there is one issue you may notice when trying to connect dots together. When trying to attach lines, you may occasionally have issues connecting them to dots. The control issue can become frustrating at times, especially when you are playing on levels that have a time limit. These levels require you to complete the shape before a clock runs down, so when you're pressed for time it is annoying to deal with any inaccurate swipes.
Besides from this issue, the game is very fun, and there are plenty of different levels to complete. As you unlock more levels, more dots will be added, and it will become harder to figure out what shapes are needed to be built.
Shapes is free, but there is a paid version of the game that features more levels. Unfortunately the free version includes a huge amount of video adverts that interrupt gameplay.
