Neat graphics, lots of levels, addictive game play, simple controls
Crazy Kitchen for Android is a match 3 game that adds a crazy twist that's so good you could almost eat it. In this game you own a small bakery, and you must match cakes and cookies to match the orders that customers are requesting.
When you are playing a level, half of the screen in this game is used for the match three game, whilst the other half is used to display the bakery and the customers as they come in for their orders. As you can imagine, basic orders like five pink cakes, or three chocolate chip cookies can be met by matching the corresponding items on the board below. You don't need to match up all of the required items in one go, but you cannot move items from the board unless you are matching at least three of the same item.
To start with, this game is pretty slow paced, gameplay is very easy, and you'll finish the level with plenty of bonus score. However, as you play through the level screen, which has been displayed as a road that goes through the city your bakery is built in, you'll start to find that the game becomes more challenging. This kind of approach to gameplay has been seen before. Despite the unoriginal gameplay, the graphics and character art in this game is pretty spot on. You can even take photos of you and your friends to upload to the customers.
Just like many other match three games, the difficulty curve has been built to suite the casual player base, and you will mostly get by without too much distress. If you do decide to stick it through the dozens of levels in this game, you'll eventually have to deal with the ridiculously hard levels that are hard to complete without spending on in-app purchases.
Crazy Kitchen is free but like mentioned above, there are in-app purchases.
