Neat graphics, interesting plot
Inconvenient to play on a small screen, animation is a bit laggy, not interesting to play without paying money
Wonder Zoo - Animal rescue! for Android places you in charge of building your own zoo. Capture animals, feed them, invite guests and make your zoo flourish.
Wonder Zoo - Animal rescue! is a wonderful app for animal lovers of all ages. The game takes place in the rugged jungles of what must be Africa, because all sorts of exotic animals run wild and free. Your job is to build up and develop your zoo. To do that, you must build enclosures, buy food, feed the animals and make your environment inviting for guests. But a zoo needs animals to draw visitors, so part of the game also includes getting into your trusty jeep and going out to catch new animals. The game will tell you which animals you need, and then you drive around the dusty lands to look for them. Once captured, you take them back to the zoo, build an enclosure and put the animals on display for the guests to enjoy.
The play is quite dynamic and developed. Capturing the animals was fun, because driving the jeep added a new element to the play. Building structures and evolving your zoo unfolds in the typical ways. And naturally, you can speed up construction for a fee.
The graphics look really good, but the animation could be better; it was choppy and stuttered often. The controls are decent but often didn't register my taps and touches on the first try. The sounds were appropriate and gave the feel of being out on safari.
Wonder Zoo - Animal rescue! should hold your interest for a while and keep the little ones engaged and curious. This game is fun and educational and plays well for the most part.
