Solve puzzles until your mind literally becomes jelly

Features great, mind numbing puzzles, offers awesome puzzle mechanics
The pacing is inconsistent, the time limits are too short
A long time ago there used to be these sliding puzzles that cost about a quarter. They were pretty simple puzzles made completely of plastic and they usually formed a picture when you solved them. Jelly Puzzle for Android takes this concept and applies it to something a little different. It’s a game about being trapped and finding your way out.
You find yourself in quite the pickle at the start of every game. Your jelly is in the middle of the puzzle and you need to figure out where to slide the rest of the jellies so that it will open the exit for you. It’s one of those games that sounds easy enough in theory, but can get quite hard in application.
The puzzle can range from very easy to very hard, and there is no real pacing for this. A seemingly impossible puzzle will precede one that will only take you 30 seconds to figure out. I guess the devs felt like this would be a way to keep you on your toes, but it actually just makes the game’s pacing feel awkward.
Each puzzle also has a 2 minute time limit that you have to complete them in, and your performance is grading on how fast you solve the puzzle, so the clock is ticking as soon as you jump in.
Jelly Puzzle is a great puzzle game, and I’m really surprised it’s taken this long for a game like this to make its way to Android. It’s a simple, but addicting concept that’s a lot of fun.
